What’s Good: Since it's no longer 2019 and these movies are based on jingoistic tales, they may be put on hold.

What’s Bad: Any movie that receives a lot of attention but falls short of expectations offends our inner moviegoers, which is why I would always choose HanuMan to this one.

Runtime:  2 hours 46 minutes

Our soldier should be the hero, there should be a crazy Pakistani villain, it should be an action movie with some heartbreaking moments, and there should be one or two amazing songs. This is the most recent Hindi film box office formula. Although action movies are the genre with the largest global box office earnings, "Fighter" is more of an Indian Air Force showreel than a masala movie. This movie demonstrates how irrational it is for these people from the neighboring countries to even consider looking at India, given the resolve of the Indian Air Force.

While "Fighter" stars Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone, it will be likened to Tom Cruise's "Top Gun" and "Top Gun Maverick" films. Fans of Kangana Ranaut's "Tejas" will also recognize parallels between the two movies. Additionally, these two reasons are sufficient to see "Fighter" in theaters. Indeed, if the song "Ishq Jaisa Kuch," which was filmed on Hrithik and Deepika, is not included in the movie, then the fans of both actors would be quite dissatisfied.

The first scene of "Fighter" reveals that the Indian Air Force was involved in the film's production. One of the movie's producers, Raman Chhib, was in the Air Force himself. The script was written by him as well. Siddharth Anand has put a great deal of research into the film's plot, screenplay, and language. Shamsher Pathania wrote the film's narrative, which centers on Jammu, Hyderabad, and Lucknow. In the army, he goes by Patty, while at home, he goes by Shammi. He is upset with him as well as having a broken heart due to what his CO thinks. There is a new action team in formation. Meenal Rathod joins the group.

She notices Patty right away and is fascinated by her appearance rather than falling in love with her. They appear to be developing a connection, but then something occurs and Patty is returned to the Air Force Academy. Here, during an operation, Jammu's action team breaks down. However, in a conflict where there are no rules and no need for success, Patty makes the decision to quit her position. Another line from the movie is, "In war, there is no man of the match—there is only victory or defeat." The saying, "The one who is playing alone is playing against the team," is another important team-building discussion.

In Pakistan, boom bang...

This is Siddharth Anand's seventh film as a filmmaker. He is now an expert in computer graphics imaging and visual effects. 'Bang Bang' marked the beginning of Siddharth and Hrithik Roshan's new action film series. He first showed his teeth in the movie "War," and the movie "Pathan" was the pinnacle of his new journey. 'Fighter' gave him the guts to go into producing movies. Produced for about Rs 200 crore, Siddharth's "Fighter" is a masala Hindi film. He does not refer to Pakistan as India's enemy and continues to simmer the romance between Hrithik and Deepika.

In this exercise, he gives the antagonist in his movie a new face and turns terrorism operating out of Pakistan into the main antagonist of the story. Siddharth simply tells; he does not demonstrate the risk. The primary shortcoming of the movie "Fighter" is its antagonists. With his long hair and red eye, Rishabh Sahni has tried his hardest to make the movie more suspenseful, but he lacks the demeanor to play the typical Hindi film "villain." His health is comparable to that of Emraan Hashmi, who played the antagonist in the movie "Tiger 3." Completed effort with minimal impact.

The Tara Rum Pum of Hrithik and Deepika...

In any case, people won't watch "Fighter" because of Rishabh Sahni. The movie's opening doesn't seem very noteworthy. The movie's opening doesn't seem very noteworthy. People are not as curious about the movie as they were about Siddharth's last movie, "Pathan." There are two other reasons why the movie seems unsatisfactory. First of all, this movie looks like an Indian Air Force display reel. Secondly, it attempts to demonstrate the Pulwama attack as a Pakistan-sponsored occurrence by discrediting various ideas surrounding it. Both of these elements help the movie along, and the instances in which Indian Air Force fighter jets or helicopters are seen doing aerobatics are thrilling. But what about the plot? After four or five years, people wouldn't want to rewatch the movie because of its plot.

This movie has all it needs to be a classic, but it falls flat as soon as it starts to stray from the plot. The fact that Siddharth Anand was able to unite Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone is his greatest triumph in this movie. Along with those, he has two other films to his credit. Before making a movie about individuals in uniform, Siddharth needs to pick up a few more skills. Like, when, who can, and to whom, is a typical salute? And how do you give a salute without a cap on your head?

Oh beauties, take caution...

Air Force officials have examined the stars and medals on every performer in the movie's uniform, according to Siddharth. Maybe for that reason, the most well-known song from the movie, "Ishq Jaisa Kuch," was also cut out, eliminating any resemblance to the romantic film portraying of two army soldiers falling in love. Still, the film is still worth seeing because of Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone's performances. In this about three and a quarter-hour film, Deepika Padukone and Hrithik Roshan share the majority of the emotions and action.

The one issue that keeps coming up is why, after Mini enters the narrative and Patty is left alone after losing her fiancé, he only thinks of her in flashbacks during the breaks in the action. What transpired between the two, if anything? Hrithik always strikes a salute when he has the chance. Even in the uniform and even after it. While it is true that Hrithik Roshan's performance on the big screen is magical, there is still much work to be done if his character is kept apart from his aura.

Daughter and father engaged in an emotional battle

Let's now discuss Deepika Padukone. One of the most popular actresses in Hindi cinema, Deepika, has a unique bond with January 25. This time around, the movie came out on the same day. Any viewer would be moved to tears by her teary eyes. Not only is this the most pivotal scene in the movie, but it also represents an attempt by Indian parents to support their daughters in selecting the careers of their choosing, as Mini's parents come to her base to acknowledge their mistake. Give girls independence even if they choose not to enlist in the military! The film 'Fighter' is strengthened by Deepika, who serves as its foundation.

She portrays a girl who is proactive when it comes to falling in love. He was his father's rejected child. She is also shown telling the nation's millions of parents that their rejected children will never be able to live in harmony. The film's supporting cast members, Karan Singh Grover, Akshay Oberoi, Sanjeeda Sheikh, and Talat Aziz, all delivered strong performances. And the largest of all these supporting actors was Anil Kapoor. Anil has done a fantastic job showcasing his acting skills in this role, which alternates between the love and hate of a brother grieving the loss of his sister and the obligation of a responsible officer.
